Power Maxed Tag Racing (PMTR) Reveal the new and improved Vauxhall Astras! - 4/4/2018 4:42:29 PM
The Launch Event for the BTCC’s 60th Anniversary season took place on 27th March, 2018. Power Maxed Racing (PMR) had a fantastic Media Day in preparation for the season, with many partners, including new joint title Partners TAG Industries joining the team at Donington Park for the launch of the highly developed Vauxhall Astras. The day showcased an exciting new livery and team name Power Maxed TAG RACING (PMTR) for the upcoming season, with the new look earning the team the only round of applause throughout the day.
Vauxhall Trade Club are thrilled to be sponsoring PMR again this year, and cannot wait for the chequered flag to drop at the first race.
The PMR build Vauxhall Astras enjoyed a successful season in 2017, seeing some sizeable achievements, including Senna Proctor taking the hotly contested Jack Sears Trophy for Best Rookie. This year, PMTR will consist of Josh Cook, himself a Jack Sears winner with PMR in 2015, whilst Senna Proctor will continue his campaign for the title. The team are excited for the season to begin, with both Astras showing huge promise at both the Season Launch and subsequent test sessions.
The BTCC season is set to begin on the 7-8th April with the first race taking place on Kent’s Brands Hatch Indy circuit. You can catch the racing live on ITV4, from 11am on Sunday, 8th April. Don’t miss it!
