Vauxhall Trade Club Return to BTCC – Brands Hatch - 4/4/2017 4:08:03 PM
The 2017 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championships races kicked off on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd April at Brands Hatch. The weekend saw an impressive return debut for Vauxhall with Power Maxed Racing.
Both Tom Chilton and Senna Proctor took to the track and faced a challenging day of weather changes, red flags and an unpredictable grid.
In a great first race for Power Maxed Racing, Vauxhall achieved points, podiums and silverware. Proctor was awarded the Jack Sears Trophy, Tom Chilton took 3rd in race 3 and Power Maxed Racing also walked away with the manufacturers trophy for round one.
Tom Chilton said “It was perfect. It’s our first event of the year and we’re still learning the car. It shows what a great job Power Maxed Racing has done and to get a podium is brilliant”.
Vauxhall finished the weekend with Chilton qualifying 12th and Proctor placing 16th.
Look out for Vauxhall in the next event at Donington Park on 15th – 16th April.
